Twix (my collie’s name) was a big surprise to me. But I instantly fell in love with it and play with it to this day. Although the hair can be a bit irritating since it is so stringy, you constantly have to brush it to make it look good. Oh, and if you ever want to wash it, DO NOT put it in the washer and dryer. All it does is poof up the hair and it refuses to go back to normal. But a great toy none the less and a great pet for young ones!

Very popular product. The Collie is adorable and unique. The tag has a code that enables your child to view and care for the virtual version of the collie. The site is very child friendly. There is no way to directly interact with other children so bullying, child predators, or foul language is not a concern. It teaches children how to care for pets. Be cautioned, webkinz come with accesories. Be prepared to seek out clothes, new pets, and trading cards. Kids love them. It’s a harmless toy and adorable to boot.

My granddaughter is absolutely thrilled with Webkinz and the collie made her very happy! She would spend hours on the web site if her mother approved but is limited–so all her computer time is spent with her Webkinz “friends”. It is a great toy for her and other girls her age (she is 9).
